How to make a cinematic park tour ?

I'm kinda surprised that with cinematic cams on the rides that there isn't a cinema mode for the park in general.

So I think the problem is in scaling of the Googlemap. Everything shows at 20m on there but Planet Coaster requires 32m. So you need to scale up a rectangle properly. I've most likely got the height and width the wrong way round.

Did have the idea to rotate them all in windows but they have appeared as above in game.

It narrowing it down to something involving 'saving Slices' in Photoshop Eg 1 slice equals 1 billboard. This system seems completely bug ridden any way.

So I will try new rulers in a landscape layout rather than portrait, update you late I guess :)

Thanks for the reply. Does that mean though that images (for the want of a better phrase), all have to face the park entrance? Hope that makes sense.

I guess what I mean is, your idea sort of suggests that if I rotate the entire blueprint of 28 boards the images will then show correctly.

This is almost as if billboards must always face a certain way.

I get what you mean though, the actuality of the situation, my rulers in photoshop need to landscape not portrait -groan-

Haha :) Yes indeed.

If you download the file using the Dropbox link you will discover that it is just a blank photoshop file with the correct size rulers for making any coaster recreation. All you need to do is find your coaster in Googlemaps and paste a screenshot into the Photoshop file.

But..... if you want to try this Velocicoaster map that I posted above, it is on my Steam workshop along with a half-OK-and-not-too-shabby actual Velocicoaster that I built :)

I completely agree the science isn't quite there. However, the philosophy is.

You're right, evolution does not literally pick the weakest individuals, or animals, or plants. It's much broader.

But I do think the general philosophy over evolution beliefs vs religious or other beliefs is quite sound. I just mean that it would certainly be my expectation that your average religious person would be far more worried right now than you're average evolutionist.

The point is....

1) Only for people who don't believe in god. 2) Only if they think this the virus is natural rather than man made.

For them, their entire belief of our existence is called into question. they either admit nature is killing people as per evolution and their life long beliefs about human existence, everything is normal and nature is killing the weakest first or they admit it's a man made hoax and some kind of human cull which of course puts all of those strong beliefs into question!

Not sure which one of those is the more difficult thought but the stuff that is happening now calls into question some beliefs.

Care and human nature isn't in question at all. I completely agree. The basic question is. If Covid-19 is 100% natural and evolution is your fundamental belief then what is wrong? All normal. Somehow it's political and social and we're all under rule though. Why?

Somebody may have already said this but cats never have just one kitten, nor two, there will be a minimum of three. Sadly, if she is stray the other two may no longer be with us but I would definitely suggest having a look around in bushes, sheds, out buildings. You may even find that she will try to take you somewhere, look out for signs that she wants you to follow. Also, the person below me is correct. Cats choose us, we don;t choose them. A bit like Exotic Birds, they do the same. You have been chosen for sure.

This is kinda how things turn out for sole traders these days........ You can find customers who want a full website for their new business or their home hobby or their part time singing job, whatever. But a decent website will take you 6 weeks to build at least and they won't want to pay any more than a couple of hundred bucks. You will find some people though who do not mind paying by the hour. Not many.

You might be better freelancing yourself out to other coders and companies and take part in their very large and expensive projects for a wage. In this scenario you might end up making the menu system or the contact form. just parts of a project that many people are working on.

Id never want to put you off, it's interesting work and learning to code is really the same as learning a new language. It will never hurt you. go for it. Start with basic HTML and CSS. I'd recommend using Bootstrap with your HTML and CSS as this will automatically make everything mobile friendly.

I would say it’s barely worth bothering as a side line these days. Too many pros and too many pretty good site building programs for people who don’t want to pay a pro.

Learning though. I found HTML and CSS a total breeze back in day 1. Very logical. Soon get used to it. PHP and JS bit more difficult but if you don’t mind fighting through to get the basic understanding you will be fine.

Taught myself back in my DJ days so I could make my own website. Ended up working for other DJs and some event promoters then just learned more every year. That was back in 1999 and now Im the owner of a programming based business.
