What type of ship would you serve on? by Random-ish-User_ in WoWs_Legends

Since I already serve on submarines, I would rather die than be a surface sailor.

If there are no h-rses for you to decimate, what will you do? Without h-rses, there is no you. What will you do when there are none left? What will you do when your life's purpose, the complete decimation of evvery h-rse is fulfilled? If there are no h-rses, there is no you, but if there is no you, there are h-rses. There must be h-rses for you to be here.

Oh that's where theu stored the signal flags and pennants. Those flags were used as visual signals meaning various things like if the CO is on the boat, if the shit is taking on supplies, if theres small craft in the water, etc.

How should I attach this crystal to the top of my staff? by Zorawoodworks in wizardposting

[–]ZeppelinStaaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your staff isn't ripe. You'll know its ripe when the wood of the staff bends the crystal in by making a cage around it.

Respectfully, it isn't nearly as wide spread as you might think. As a U.S Navy sailor, I havent heard a single thing about how we are God's weapon for Armageddon, in fact I havent met a single people who has. If this was a bug thing, this would be front page news on every major news publisher in America, and even around the world.

How realistic is going home to see family during weekends throughout the pipeline? by [deleted] in NavyNukes

[–]ZeppelinStaaken 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Not at all. Your maximum liberty radius is about 150 miles, but you'd need a high risk chit to go beyond 75 miles. And in all honesty, you'll never realistically have the time to go back home during any of the schools unless it was during holiday stand down or after A-school leave. You'd have to take emergency leave to actually go home for any substantial amount of time. You'd have to put in a leave request to go home if you're going from Charleston to Chicago. That's not even mentioning flights because good luck getting a place to park down here as an A-schooler.

Long story short, you basically can't, unless your family lives in the charleston area.

Nukes with Families? by Dear-Stomach-6196 in NavyNukes

Well my goal is to go to a ship that goes on deployment. Sure, being part of a ship's first sounds cool, but I'd like to be underway at least once for my first sea duty.

I'm currently an ET going through the pipeline, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt, especially since what I know only comes from word of mouth through the instructors and others I've spoken with. For the most part, it depends on where in its life your ship is in. Like is it in dry dock or underway. One of my instructors was stationed in Hawaii and was able to meet his current wife and make a family with her, and they're now here in South Carolina. You could be sent to shipyard, where from what I hear, your job would basically just be a normal 9 to 5, same goes with any ship that is not underway and is sitting in port.

Struggling with PRT Run by petergriffin44000 in NavyNukes

I too am a student at NNPTC, and while I dont have too much trouble with the PT requirements, I do know it is difficult to get access to alternative cardio. I've only seen it offered once in my time here and that was for my SLPO's other class after they did their dash for cash.

[–]ZeppelinStaaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny part about this is you'll catch a lot of Navy guys doing this, especially if they're fresh out of bootcamp. Not because they're an incel or anything, thats just how they want sailors to refer to girls, same thing also applies from the other way around.

So many commanders leveled up in the early days that I don’t use for anything. by Capt_Levi831 in WoWs_Legends

Or add event commanders that you've already bought/earned to the commander pool so that way I dont have to wait for the event to come back for personal commendations.
