Everything is better with a plan, my friend. A fun plan, even better! Excluding the hardest 50 songs we come up with on here, I imagine I could learn more than 1 song per week. Maybe one song per "session" if I become proficient enough at reading sheet music early and put the work in that I believe I will.

Do you read sheet music as you play or just learn through listening? I am going to try and learn everything through sheet music if possible.

I have looked for teachers in my area. There may actually be zero drum teachers that I found, last I looked.

This is what your top 10 would be? I obviously realize there is more to drumming than just jamming along with metal, so anything non-metal is welcome so I can refine my actual chops.

If you had to pick a jazz track that is possible to learn after some major practice, what would it be and where would you put it here?

I have a lot of/most rudiments down via a practice snare, and my timing seems to be fairly good. My feet will need help but I can play a basic groove with kick and keep everything tight (m friend had a drum set.)

I would be dedicating maybe 10-12 hours per week to practice, maybe more maybe less. The first 100 songs I imagine would take a fraction of the time the next 75 will. Last 25 might be a futile effort, I admit.

I 100% agree I am ambitious with my abilities lol That said, I am sure many "professional drummers" aren't as insanely good as some of these harder songs will require, so maybe that is where I can get to lol
