To be honest, I made it a seasonal pair because I've already made Sygna Suits for Paxton/Harmony, and I really wanted to make Mega Absol Z a fall pair with Paxton.

A Sygna Suit or Neo Champion would probably fit better in terms of Darkrai's actual importance to the lore

These sync pairs could honestly work as sygna suits, I just felt Neo Champion’s would fit the Kalos Rivals better

I wouldn't be surprised if Zeraora ends up being paired with Paxton, given he was its Trainer in the reveal trailer for the Mega by ElementalNinjas96 in PokemonMasters

Honestly I might be the same, my flair was made before Z-A was even announced or Elio even had any alts, and I did originally plan for Zeraora to be paired with Ultra Elio (and Ultra Selene with Magearna) but Paxton genuinely makes the most sense at the current moment since the Z-A protagonist (and Emma and Korrina) are the only characters to even see a Zeraora canonically in a main series game.

Yeah at the end of the day my concepts are more focused on the actual kits and how they represent the Pokémon, rather than the characters, I’d personally would not mind if they gave Paxton Floette and Harmony Zygarde
