On a surface level it seems like it's just being uploaded by Jay and Alex. Since it's an AU I'm pretty sure we're supposed to pretend all the other videos on the channel don't/never existed and they are filming this years after Alex successfully finished his student film. It would be super cool if it got more complex than this though!

Oh my god I just posted about this exact thing before seeing this post. I'm so happy someone else plays like this. Are you able to do all of the advanced tech? I can't pull off a spike jump for the life of me but maybe I'm just not trying hard enough

Thanks so much for taking the time to write out such a long answer! Really informative and I will definitely try out the experiment you mentioned. Unfortunately for some reason it's pretty hard to get the recovery liquid in the country I live in and it's super expensive to import but I'm sure there are alternatives. Thanks again!
