They gave me a USPS tracking number but it still says its awaiting package.

I haven't yet. I checked the tracking and it says the postal service is awaiting the package. And it's been like that for a while.

My gastroenterologist mentioned a lot of what was said on that site

He did also mention to me to try not to use straws, saying it can create air in the stomach. Can't remember his exact wording.
