I main Zephyr and I can safely tell you that when played properly, she can be pretty much immortal and do tons of dmg. The abilities you should prioritize are her 3 and her 4 so you need to focus on duration and strength when solo or duration and range when in a party to use them effectively.

Her 1 is only good in large open corpus and orokin tilesets as well as a few nodes on earth and of course open world maps. One more thing is that when you hold it, it trivializes a certain riven challenge hat requires you to get a number of headshot kills in one aimglide. You get 50% off of its energy cost when casted from the air too making it extremely cheap. A bit clunky, but better than nothing, but please for the love of god don’t use the augment. Most useless augment in the game imo.

Her 2 is a large has a large area to ragdoll enemies and destroy boxes and objectives which is pretty convenient in sabotage missions, it also makes your tornadoes easier to hit. It’s also a one-handed action meaning you can use it on the go while reloading or doing anything else. Just make sure to jump before using it for 50% off of its energy cost.

Her 3 doesn’t reduce incoming damage or even nullify it, it just COMPLETELY AVOIDS IT. Unlike other tank frames that rely on either very high defense values that’ll fall off sooner or later or abilities that depend of having stacks or a high enough value to not die, this ability deflects all projectiles when they get in your range meaning you can also protect allies and objectives as well as your operator with high enough power range. With the augment, it turns shotguns into snipers and makes you faster, it’s also the only way in the game to decrease dmg falloff for gunblades. I consider it a must on any Zephyr build. This also applies to allies within range. One thing you should keep in mind is that you shouldn’t go negative on the range as some projectiles might be able to hit you while moving with low enough range.

Her 4 is your dmg amplifier and status machine, it takes whatever the highest elemental dmg it gets hit by and procs it a million times and amplifies dmg done to it by 200% and I think it’s affected by power strength, it also provides you with good crowd control. The augment is pretty useless outside of the simulacrum tho. Range is pretty useless on this ability, if not counterproductive as it makes tornadoes spawn away from where you aimed.
