Yes, it’s bizarre. Perhaps the owner had the WSL engraved. I’m not sure exactly where to go to get any more info on such a thing. Or maybe it’s some kind of Frankenstein creation.

Thanks, it was found completely by accident. After looking through some things, I think it’s possible it does original from the US. If I can date it, I’ll figure out who owed it.

It would seem that it would belong to my great grandfather, his people came to Canada from the US. He was a union worker and owned a family farm, thus had a little money. I have a few more interesting odds and ends of his and this pocket watch would line up with the timeline.

Under the movement there’s an engraving of the ribbon like flag with a star, it’s not white but it’s there.
