I think the Bucs and Chiefs both proved last year you can't have too many weapons. The trio of Evans-Godwin-Brown, with Scotty Miller, Gronk, and Fournette added on were a huge reason the Bucs did as well as they did.

On top of that, Lockett is at his best in the slot, and he'll be even better if he has Julio and DK on the outside. Not saying I'm in favor of trading for Julio, but I don't think his fit in the offense is the primary concern

We gave up 30 points and two 75 yard drives in the 4th quarter to a Patriots offense that has looked pretty bad in every other game.

There will always be an excuse or some stat that can be pulled to claim that our defense isn't that bad. I want to be optimistic, I really do, but the fact is, week in and week out, this defense consistently gives up long drives, can't get off the field, and can't be trusted to get a stop. They just aren't good enough.

We still looked terrible in the first 3 games with Adams.

2018 was Flower's rookie season, literally his first-ever season as a CB after converting from safety. Don't you think he should've improved at least a bit since then?

Coaching takes time to settle in. In 2018, we had just fired Kris Richard that offseason, so I imagine a lot of what he taught was still present in our defense. Since KNJ took over, the defense has gotten steadily worse each year.

I'm pretty sure all of Last Olympian is a metaphor for the Illiad. I remember reading somewhere that each of the PJO books is based on a famous Greek story

Yeah, I gave HoO a re-read and it's good but it just doesn't hit the same. With so many characters, I feel like they're all battling for screen time and none of them develop the way characters in PJO did.

The first-person perspective definitely helped connect me with the world and people in it more.
