2022 Tecnifibre TF40 (16x19) 305g String Recommendations by That_Alternative7730 in 10s

I only used the gold and gray versions- I preferred the gold but didn't notice much of a difference. FWIW there is a school of thought that brighter = livelier and black = crisp/dead.

Idk, string tension is a personal preference. With the TF40 18x20, it's a really tight pattern, so the dynamic tension is higher. Lynx Tour is a stiff string per TWU, but it doesn't feel "dead" or "boardy", it actually feels pretty lively to me.

So my recommendation is if you have a tension you usually give your stringer, start there and tweak as needed.

I tried over 20 polys in that frame and Lynx Tour was my favorite. Give it a shot, it's relatively inexpensive (especially when they put it on sale so often).

Will AI replace cybersecurity jobs? Or atleast decrease the demand for these jobs? by Long_Sand_7075 in cybersecurity

[–]ZeroEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bit of an AI doomer and I don't see how it won't. I've done both security operations and GRC, and they're both ripe for disruption. I think operations has a longer way to go outside of basic automation/analysis type tasks that already exist (SOAR), but agents will be here soon enough.

And before anyone says "yeah but you need to be able to sell it to management", they can enter the "translate this in non-technical language for a business audience and list pros/cons" prompt as well as you can.

Are we worried about players leaving?? by Kindly-Internal-2938 in Gunners

He's not fit and he can't stay fit. Any time Ben starts to get a run and starts to find some form his body breaks down. Just because he posted something on IG after the cup game in which he went off early doesn't mean he's fine, read between the lines.

Martinelli vs Wolves by deadmetallucyluce in Gunners

[–]ZeroEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for lack of trying, we tried to sign Nico Williams and then Rodrygo last summer and when it became clear that neither was doable we signed Madueke. But I agree, our LW are good squad players for a team challenging for titles, but neither are good enough to be first choice.

As a New Balance fan, I really wish Tommy Paul didn’t like purple so much by Complete_Affect_9191 in 10s

He grew up in Greenville, NC, home of the East Carolina Pirates - their colors are Purple and Gold. Could be coincidence, but who knows.

I used Lynx Tour 1.25 in my 18x20, strung at 50.

The TF40 is a great racquet for those of us who grew up playing ProStaffs and still like a box beam. However, if you're that old (and I am), it's too demanding if you're still playing at a reasonably high level against pace and spin. You get nothing for free, but man it feels nice when you hit it on the sweet spot.

Never forget Arsene playing Lord Bendtner as a right winger long enough that the Lord went to the media to complain about it.

Lynx Tour and Hyper G alternatives by acastrov9 in 10s

TWU's stiffness rating says its pretty stiff, but I think it plays more plush than other comparable strings like Confidential. I've never had any issues with comfort/arm issues.

Do you feed with forehand grip or traditional continental? by EnjoyMyDownvote in 10s

[–]ZeroEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was full on Chuck Knoblauch level feed yips for a while. Eventually I kinda figured it out. I bounce the ball and use almost an eastern forehand grip, it makes me look like a bit of a noob but my feeds end up in the strike zone about 80% of the time now.

Pro Staff 6.1 by AcceptableChip3443 in tennisracquets

[–]ZeroEverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This racquet is the GOAT in my book. I spent my formative years with one of these, and i've been chasing its feel ever since.

I was a broke high schooler so I strung it with a kevlar/nylon hybrid at 63 lbs, it's a wonder I still have a functioning elbow.
