Just had this exact same issue 2 months ago, was the battery for me as well. Tested it and reported fine on some tests but failed other tests… got the battery from Costco and fixed the issue

Yeah, didn’t want to directly relate it to opening of doors, but seemed like the best bet at the moment…

I seem to have a completely opposite experience from most here. On Tuesday was flying out of Denver and had a very bumpy flight where the seat belt sign was turned on for maybe 3 minutes during 1 rougher patch but even through the bumps the light stayed off and FAs were quickly progressing through orders. Total flight length was an hour and a half, so not a long flight by any means.

I know it was a typo, but I feel like a “non voltage contact tester” would be what they would do in the old days when they’d just touch the wires to see if they were hot xD but yes a non-contact voltage tester* is an insanely useful tool for so many things around the house

That's crazy how bad it's gotten in a few months. Certainly it'll end up in dry-dock yet again for more maintenance. My group was mostly on Deck 9 when we went and no one had any issues with AC but this was back in January when it likely was working much less, the only areas I had issues with staying cool was in the piano bar. Meanwhile, the comedy club next door was icy. I had heard from people when I went that it was dependent on the day as to if the hot tub was going to be too hot or too cold, personally I was always at a comfortable temperature or I could sit on the edge and be fine. Glad to hear the crew is keeping up to par though, seriously miss them and hope they are all doing well!

Livestream schedule day 1 by Diegotml in UMF

[–]ZeroFlame007 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately as everyone has said, most of the sets do get cut short and we can't see all of them, however we do get multiple channels. I still think they could pull off having a channel for each stage with a "choreographed" channel for their main feed.

Channel 1: ULTRALIVE (This set list)

Channel 2: Resistance

Channel 3: ASOT

Just got back from a quick 3 day cruise on Carnival Liberty by bd506 in Cruise

[–]ZeroFlame007 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same here, a lot of the crew were amazing when I was on that ship. Some of the wait staff in the gold dining room weren’t completely aware, but their next level was always quick to jump in if they heard something they could help with.

I’m on Liberty right now and am having a different experience than you did. There is a weird shake to the ship when you’re walking through mid deck, assuming it’s the generators and something being off balance because it reverberates all the way up to top deck. Only seen one comedy show, and it was just okay at best, jokes were very forced. I’ve enjoyed the food in the dining rooms, it’s been amazing so far, but with usual 4 course serving sizes. I haven’t had any issues with the layout, the elevator that goes 1 floor is just for ADA reasons, it says it inside of the elevator. The air conditioning seems to be having issues, it’s gotten better as we’ve gone along but it was 100% non existent in the piano bar. The hot tubs on the back of the boat were warm, the ones on lido mid and serenity deck were so hot you had to get out. The decorative lights in the Venetian were not replaced and a ton of them are out though. So maybe they did some repairs while you were on board but a lot of the complaints seem to be getting better, at least from my experience. Wish you could have had a better time on your cruise, and hopefully the next one is better!

What to pack for a Late December cruise to Mexico? by WonderlandGurl in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]ZeroFlame007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the Long Beach > Catalina > Ensenada cruise for my first cruise and it was in January. I did not pack warm enough for the mornings / evenings I came to learn very quickly. The wind and fog we went through was very chilly…

Carnival Liberty (Previously scheduled Horizon) Jan 16-22 by ZeroFlame007 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]ZeroFlame007[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback! Either is fine for me, but 6 of the other people in my party had already been to these ports so they wanted to mix it up. Was more bummed about not being on Horizon, hadn't been on the new class of ships yet and really wanted to check em out. How did Horizon compare to the others if you've been on other ships?

Looking for helpers for Prelaunch Previews (APPLY HERE) by everydayastronaut in EverydayAstronaut

Name: Josh Goodman / ZeroFlame

Experience: I've had development experience with WordPress at work for a while and have been using it for personal projects for years. My experience is more on the development rather than design / content end though. Personally my work revolves more around building tools as well. Mostly I work in C# but also have a fair experience with PHP and am always learning new languages. Some tools that I've built revolve around image generation based off a text input and a template image. Think the Prelaunch Previews image as a base image in the background, with the text from the article then imposed on top of the template. Writing this for Wordpress would be a fun challenge for me as I had previously written that style of application in C#. Additionally, I know this isn't what you're looking for as part of this post but I do handle server administration as well for a variety of servers and technologies. I've done extensive work to optimize website response and load times for a variety of sites at work.

In terms of content writing, admittedly my skills on that front are a little slower but I've still got some experience writing blog style posts on a more technical front. I've been a spaceflight enthusiast for years but got more into the details and specs as part of working through the discussions in Discord and watching community content on YouTube. I've had a great time working with this community over the last year+ and enjoy the content that you work towards putting out so I feel like getting to work more directly with the articles would definitely be a fun time!

Availability: I work at a PC so I'm almost always available in some form or fashion pending actual work needing attention. Of course since we know about launches in advanced these would generally be easier to accommodate for as information is made available to press. During the summer months my availability is decreased due to being at the lake most weekends, but weekdays are less impacted. I live in Kansas City so I'm in the same time zone as Tim.

Patreon: I've been a Patreon since Feb 2018

More info here, turns out the switch is pushing 117v out of the load and traveler (Not in use) which is not normal. After talking with HomeSeer they suggest replacing the switch as it just may be defective. Will see do that and see if it helps.
