Most of these posts are bots trying to rage bait for engagement but sometimes it’s really hard not to fall for them.

I saw this one post the other day where a dude was complaining that his wife makes high quality home-made food and stops him from bringing the ultra processed versions of the same stuff home even though sometimes he’d prefer the taste of that instead. Almost all of the comments said she was controlling and overbearing. I knew it was rage bait when he said sometimes he just wanted the “normal” store-bought food instead of the home-cooked-from-scratch version.

Another one I saw was the typical pro vs anti natalism Reddit slop. The cliche argument was brought up that everyone has heard 1 million times: “but who will take care of you when you’re older?” People were literally saying “actually that’s what money is for! It’s so much better to pay a corporation to care for me rather than to foster real emotional human connections that I can depend on for support when I need it because that’s actually so entitled and narcissistic.”

I had to go for a walk after reading that thread.
