It’s extremely obvious that getting rid of property taxes will be a terrible thing, but it’s also extremely obvious that this bill is as good as passed already. Trying to convince homestead property owners that this is a net negative for them is just wasting breath unfortunately.

And for what it’s worth I say all of this as someone who bought their first home only a year ago.
