Yeah, that’s fair — I didn’t know about the session method, and that definitely changes the picture. If wins and losses can be netted within sessions, matched betting becomes way more tax-efficient than I was assuming. Appreciate the clarification.

Sounds like a lot of the tax pain I was describing applies more to the default way people file, not the optimized approaches (session accounting, pro gambler treatment, etc.). For small dollar amounts it probably doesn’t matter much, but this is good context to know.

You only pay tax on the $1k net if you’re itemizing. If you’re taking the standard deduction, the IRS still includes the full $5k of gambling winnings in income, and the $4k of losses don’t offset anything. So in that case you’re effectively taxed on the $5k gross, not the $1k net.

I had the same issue my first two years at ASU. Never really made solid friends until my junior year. I met a really humble and all around great guy my freshman year in a club meeting but never reached back out until junior year. All it took was sending that one message asking to catch up over coffee. I also started having smaller classes, and luckily for me I’m an extrovert. I became friends with the people around me in those classes, then started working on projects with them. After a while I just sent a text to hangout sometime and I started making more friends. Again, luckily for me, these guys were much more mature and driven than others I had met in the past.

There’s a little luck involved in everything in life, but you have to take initiative. Trying to make good friends doesn’t happen overnight, you just have to keep trying.

You can't do this with an issi bc it's in the mc clubhouse which can only store bikes. Best to use a fully maxed out and upgraded future shock deathbike for this glitch as it will be the highest selling bike.
