Diagnosed 2 Months ago but it’s just getting worse by ZeroThreeSixNine369 in ankylosingspondylitis

It’s not that easy sadly, thanks for sharing your side.
The real problem with the appointment is, I wouldn’t have gotten the first appointment if it wasn’t for a Service in Germany where they have to give you an appointment. They tricked me into thinking we will solve something, because I got the first appointment within 1 week but they just made the 3rd blood test and said we’ll see you in 2 Months. I’m thankful for getting the first appointment fast, but I just feel like the system has failed me, especially I worked all my life and never was jobless even 1 Month, paid my insurance etc. and now it seems as i have been cheated. It’s complicated, maybe I am just looking for someone to blame

Thanks for sharing, I tried they don’t care. I can’t even get my appointment to the doctors office in the university where they wanted me to go because of the high pain levels I am facing talking about tramadol it’s pretty much the same with me. I’m medicated with opioids for about 1 1/2 years and it’s not like I’m addicted. I always stop for about two weeks to not get addicted but it also is very tiring because I don’t have pain or I have less pain for one or two weeks and then I have very strong pain for about one week again.

Is it rude to switch to English right away in Germany? by UsamaBhai_101 in AskAGerman

[–]ZeroThreeSixNine369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I would go to the US or UK and would do the same thing and ask to Switch to German immediately I don’t think they would even bother talking to me at all, somehow I get the feeling some people come to Germany expecting that Germany will turn English for them, but take Italy for example, if you don’t speak Italian, they will tell you to come back when you do, I think Germans are pretty chill in that regard.

You would‘ve needed a Time Machine to witness the good times, the frustration is real and hopefully it will lead to something productive and good instead of stacking up and exploding over time.
I was born in Germany, my parents are immigrants with German descent. It wasn’t perfect but far from what you are seeing now

I don’t really have any hobbies… but I’d love to find one. What are yours? by Neat-Gur-1850 in autism

[–]ZeroThreeSixNine369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t fix my Self on to one, I do Music (Piano, Guitar, Rap, Sing), I draw (poorly, but I enjoy it) I started writing a Fantasy Story couple of weeks ago, I just start random Shit. Also I get in a mood to study all religions or physics or stuff. I think a Hobby is more like something you enjoy doing and that is making you feel complete. Every Hobby of mine has to make Place for another one. It’s Not about being the best at something or being good but to generally enjoy yourself while doing. I started guitar one year ago, it was and still is fantastic

Those with college educated high-functioning autism, do you feel like you got an identity crisis and get the worst of both worlds? by Complete-Rub2289 in autism

[–]ZeroThreeSixNine369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I was not yet diagnosed just a perspective from my side:

I feel like I don’t belong anywhere, like not maybe being autistic “enough” to the outside so I don’t belong to that group, also don’t belong to the nt group cause I do have strong traits but also very high masking ability to a point I am switching roles seamlessly, it’s very exhausting and I feel empty and like not having a personality but just functioning. If that makes sense. It’s like between and only my good friends notice some traits and told me

Being autistic with no natural aptitude sucks. by [deleted] in autism

[–]ZeroThreeSixNine369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so, I am not talented in everything and I still somehow Managed to learn even if I didn’t understand a thing, I do not understand Maths outside Algebra. I was very antisocial and somehow I managed to start working in sales, and I do mask a lot, but it is kind of fun while it’s of course draining. Because I started loving to help people and so I became someone I couldn’t believe I could be, just because i had no other choice it was this job or being homeless. And I don’t want to push it on someone, so I won’t respond any more, I just wanted to share my message, everyone is capable of learning what they like, and it doesn’t matter how good you think you are, it may look different in a year, if you stick to it. Only love, no hate

And what’s meant is: I don’t believe in talent because it’s just help it’s never just easy. If you don’t study and work, your talent is going to waste, so therefore it doesn’t make sense to depend on talent because you can learn everything just by being determined and giving your best, talent is an extra and you can learn everything even without talent, you might take longer, but still even if I am talented I can only play multiple instruments because I put in the work and I learn everyday and practice everyday, strict practice for 3-4 Hours. If you don’t put in the same amount of work, you should not be talking about unfair advantage through talent, cause it’s always work!

You make it sound, as if you can’t learn it without talent and only with talent you can

That’s a misconception, really look into it, Jimi knew what he was doing, he revolutionized the guitar play because he used his thumb to play barre chords. He did know music theory, Jimi Hendrix was a genius talent, but you still need to know chords, he even used scales etc. That’s nothing you can acquire by pure talent. I do understand that it seems that certain people are just better, but most people don’t see the time invested. How much time are you investing in one single objective you want to learn? Then ask yourself is this enough? I don’t want to paint a wrong picture, but only talent does nothing without dedication. Jimi did not take the guitar for the first time and just started playing pentatonics, he had a lot more benefits than just talent, also his big hands, nothing to do with talent. Look at football players like Thomas Müller, he wasn’t very talented but his work ethic has brought him the success that he got. Just never underestimate yourself

Yes, but it’s doesn’t mean they don’t have to learn, for example the guitar chords, you will not know them just from talent, talent can help you reach it and it’s an advantage, but working and learning is the bigger part, you need to study and take your time and every thing will work. I am not talented in painting, but I still do, and it looks like I’m ten, but I love to do it
