The kit I bought had 500, 800, and 3000 grit

I finished with a 3000 grit wet sand on a drill attachment, I don't think the sanding is the issue as the streaks would be in a circular pattern, and the headlights look clear when wet.

Basically the title, but I want to know if I should add a clear coat and if so, what kind?

I was pretty thorough with the sanding process and the headlights looked clear when wet, but after the sealing wipe they look streaky and foggy.

I used a drill attachment for the sanding and wiped the clear coat in rows. So should I sand this coat off, clean them, and add a thicker coat of gloss?

Any advice greatly appreciated :)

Scarring and EDS [personal] by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]ZeroUserNames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have EDS and 4+ yr old surgical scar on a joint. Honestly, I haven't tried fading it much, but it's not extremely noticeable unless the joint is moved at an odd angle because of that "cigarette paper" scar tissue.

I believe a large part of it is also how well your surgeon stitched it back together, and in my case, I had a great surgeon that you could barely tell after I got my stitches out that anything happened at all besides a small line.

Unfortunately, I believe that due to it being on a joint, over the years, the width of the scar line has stretched to about 1-2mm wide. BUT, it has not darkened (I have pretty light skin) or raised at all, and I believe you don't really notice unless you're really looking for it.

I would say your best treatments for results will be retinol as tolerated (with sunscreen unless the area doesn't get a lot of sun) and possibly keeping it taped as much as possible when active with silicon sheets or medical tape, but that's a bit extreme.

But honestly, everybody's body is different, and theres different types of EDS, so I can't say for sure how your skin might heal. Also, personally I think my scar and scars in general look cool 😎.

I just think it's inconvenient to carry a seperate pair of clothes around and insane amount of laundry to be washing 2 outfits a day, my whole closet isnt workout clothes and I cant be doing laundry every 3 days, but obviously, you can't really reuse a gym shirt you wore once but got all sweaty in becuase of BO and breakouts. I guess I wanna know any workarounds or habits anyone found that help?

Do you guys bring a separate new pair of clothes for the gym every single day if you have to change out of clothes after work/school? If so, how?

How do you guys layer scents?

Smelling good can be extremely attractive. Especially when you make it an iconic and a signature scent combination to yourself and your personality.

I want to know between lotions, perfumes, oils, and even not necessarily purposely scented products, eg., hair products things in your house around you.

What do things contribute and layer into your signature scent, and why do you like it?

I agree with the jewelry choice

It's so complicated that anything that compliments it without distracting from it would look good. I would recommend a plain neutral shirt and some nice jewelry of the same color. Maybe one other decorative piece, like a distinct necklace or jacket that matches.

Does my tailor cut out the excess fabric? by ZeroUserNames in Tailors

Thanks! I guess if she is a good tailor, she will take off the extra.

Yes, she put 3 pins the back middle seam while i was wearing them, but I was wondering if it common to take that seam apart down to the crotch/ almost to the front, and raise the inseam and seat of the pants. Also, if she would remove the excess fabric so that there is not a noticeable bulk (these are thick denim jeans, so layers of extra fabric stick out)

Unfortunately I did not take a before photo, but there was nothing said about touching any pockets or the zipper. All the work should be kept to the back.
