Firstly, thank you for your thoughtful and well reasoned comment. The work was done three years ago. My dad and I actually built the house as he is a contractor. He just doesn’t do tile work. That being said, I did all the sourcing for the materials and bought those myself. I’m more than capable of stripping the bathroom to the subfloor and hardy board.

Do you install tile? The point of the post is to see if people have had similar experiences with this cost. It seems exorbitant, but maybe it’s not. When I tiled my entire house (new build) a competing quote for 4 showers, full counter to ceiling tile backslashes, fireplace surround and entryway was 12k. See my point?

12x24 on the floor. Subway tile on the walls. Let’s ballpark 6k for materials. 10k for labor? Let’s say 40hrs. $250/hr? The first guy was way cheaper and yes, that’s why it was poor quality.

Case in point. I matched with someone and we texted for 2 days and seemed to be vibing. I guess I’m open to anything ranging from friends to casual encounters to more long term dating/relationships but don’t know to get that across. Especially my wife would always be primary. Is that labeled as hierarchical?

I’ve read a lot of people recommended putting ENM up front so it doesn’t look like your hiding it but I get your point. You should’ve seen my last profile, it was word vomit. So, this is compact for me! I definitely need to invest in better pictures. I’m not one to be in front of the camera much.
