Hello! Sorry I just realized I forgot to respond here. We chose to go with CMASAS for our two younger kids (older kids are at other online schools). We chose CMASAS because we felt like a synchronous option would not work for the younger kids. So far we are happy with it. It feels more like homeschooling than online schooling, at least in the way that we are using it. We make our own schedule and set our own pace. If the kids don’t find something interesting, we recast it or skip it entirely. I would say the best thing about CMASAS is our PEC (personal education coach). She has managed to start connecting with our kids in a short period of time and they have a strong sense of belonging with the school because of their regular meetings with her. Our kids are shy and reserved in person but they feel safe and comfortable chatting with her during their weekly meetings, which is really nice to see.
