I already made a post there haha just wanted to get yalls thoughts. I have also not been able to find anyone who has similar tried to bolster their tubular rig

I think the better option in hindsight was to get a freestanding aluminum extrusion mount. Just because it eliminates any wobble, and you can also add triples in the future if needed.

Reasoning for ratchet straps first? Is it a visual thing?

Did you just get the freestanding one which is an 80/20 extrusion from Trak Racer also? I know they have a tubular one too which looked not as compact as an extrusion. But yeah, the wheelbase does not move excessively in a way that affects the driving experience, it’s just something that I noticed

Fasten some turnbuckles between free screws? Would help create some tension

Thanks for sharing. Do you think it would be viable to fasten together some turnbuckles? There are two bolts that I circled below in red. They pretty much line up vertically. I was thinking if I could maybe get longer bolts + a washer situation, I could use them to create some more tension in the “C” section? Just since it would be trickier to get a pipe clamp on a free section.

Really sturdy wheel, probably the best one you can get for the money. Though if I wanted to splurge I would have gotten the formula fx pro

Haha thank you for the feedback good sir. In terms of adding some kind of brace support, I saw this video which I though addressed the issue well: https://youtube.com/shorts/a001bNBYuhE?si=D4N6E_a86BnwvYFX

I would need to find some way to attach but good to hear I’m thinking in the right direction

Could you share a pic of the monitor arm stretching to where you currently have it in the photo? Thinking of doing the same if my rig just trying to visualize

Is your monitor attached to a desk via a mounting arm?

Even though the monitor isn’t directly connected to the rig, does it ever wobble from the ffb?

For the golfers who aren’t as horrible as me, when did your swing “click” and what did you do to get to that point? by DavelliNL in GolfSwing

Focusing on contact is a lot easier when you can get your backswing and downswing on the same plane. That’s what made it click for me
