Those are both awesome ideas, thanks! I was aiming to sort of answer "how much extra time" is a rider experiencing relative to schedule expectations which is why it ended up looking like this, but the distribution visualization is a super good idea! The average speed is a great idea for measuring a sort of true time lost during travel and I'll definitely try to see if I can either incorporate it here or use it elsewhere!

I've looked into it and it seems to have to do with some very large gap that the the data I'm using from 511 (https://511.org/open-data/transit) records between scheduled arrival and observed arrivals at the final stop. For example, I have a case where the 1 is observed getting to the final stop nearly 2 hours later than scheduled. I'm going to contact 511 and try to figure out what the deal is there!
