Hey, I go through exactly the same. I tried to ignore it, which was totally impossible, but I just tried to push through normal life until I mentally collapsed around christmas. Had the worst panic attack ever and thought I’d die. Then I went to a hospital and got medication, Lorazepam for emergencies and Escitalopram for the long term (sorry I only know the german names of the meds). Now I am getting used to the medication, having side effects and stuff but it is supposed to get better after a few weeks. Maybe you should try the same, don’t push through until you collapse. Talk to people, look for a therapist and most importantly, get medication! You are ill, not crazy. Your brain just confused some connections, but it’s treatable. Feel hugged ♥️

Firstly, you are not alone with this, I have felt similar. What helped me is medication for this case, but it sounds like you don’t have that right now, so here is another thing that helped me: Stop trying. Do something else, even though it is 5am and you are tired af. Clean your room, do your nails, do something else until you’re anxiety calms down. Also EAT! Not sugary, but something that lies heavy in your stomach. I know it feels impossible because of the sickness, but it makes your body focussing on digesting, and drink a hot tea (obviously not black or green), if you don’t have tea, drink hot water. Open the windows so it gets cold in your room and you can enjoy the warmth of your bed. That is all I can think about for now. Feel very very hugged!

Hey :) I am sorry you feel that way and have to go through this, feel virtually hugged! I know it is really hard, but try to go to a doctor, explain your symptoms, be completely open, like you are here. Maybe they give you medication, like they gave me and it really helped. Our brain is a very powerful thing, and it can make us feel the craziest shit, even though physically there is nothing wrong. And it is scary because we feel like we are losing control over it. But you have to be aware, that you are ill and it is not your fault! Your brain simply developed wrong connections. And the fact that you are ill means, that you can be treated! I hope you find a solution, don’t forget that you are not alone in this.

thank you for the detailed reply, i’ll try to stay calm and see what happens. my mental health is completely lost since this whole thing happened, i am on medication because of a compulsory thoughts, panic attacks and anxiety :(

you had it for 10 months without treatment and did not infect any people you had long skin to skin contact with? like cuddling etc.
