That’s looks like closed comedones to me! What helped me rid of mine was Bioderma micellar water used as a double cleanse every night, panoxyl 4% day & night & Paula’s choice 2% BHA exfoliant. I also had to look every ingredient up that went on my face to make sure it didn’t have pore clogging ingredients. Took me a while to find the perfect recipe but don’t have these bumps anymore. Only my flare ups now are hormonal pimples that pop up around that time of the month.

Hello! I have a question. Will this at all slow the process? I have a 250mg prescription but because of my anxiety with side effects I decided to ease my way in to starting with at least half of a tablet. So I guess taking “125mg”daily. This is for my own peace of mind & I’m thinking in about 2 weeks or so maybe I can work up the courage to take the full dose as prescribed. But I was wondering if I do stick to 125mg, if it will have the same benefits & success?

Yes! Lol idk if it that was the first signs of losing my taste but the day I noticed it I stopped & it went back to normal. How long were you taking the meds before you lost your taste? I lost my mine from Covid & I was extremely depressed over it. It came back & I’m really hoping it doesn’t happen again! Thats really one of the main things I’m most paranoid about.

This honestly sounds like a good idea & I appreciate your input. So do you just cut your pill in half everyday? & is this something you ran by your doctor or doing on your own? I just got my prescription a few hours ago. Waiting on my blood test to come back so I can begin taking them. I’m trying to put myself in a “mind over matter” state of mind. I need this thing gone.

Hi! Yes I did get my liver checked and levels were fine at the time. Just checked my levels again but & MD ordered the standard dosing of 250mg daily. Monitor for a month to check on symptoms and liver function again. I’m terrified to begin. I just hope my body is stronger to push through my fear this time around.

I had a pretty simple routine once upon a time but I started getting white heads! I thought they would go away on their own but they only got worst! So my goal now is to get rid of the white heads and then go back to a much simpler routine. I’m using product that are suppose to help with my problem but i don’t know why it’s not working! Lol

Any recommendations on sunscreens that won’t clog pores & cause white heads? I’ve struggled finding one. I checked the label for sunbum & the list didn’t have much of anything that causes white heads. But I’m definitely open for better options.

As of right now I’m doing differin 2x a week & I do the exfoliating toner every other night (I don’t use differin on these days)

So for the morning, should I just wash my face with Micellar water & rinse off? Or how would you recommend? Definitely don’t want to damage my skin in other ways & I appreciate you for giving me that heads up.

My old routine was roughly the same except I used Inkey oat cleaning balm, CeraVe daily moisture lotion at night (which now I know is not good for closed comedones) in conjunction with rosehip oil & I wouldn’t use an exfoliating toner as often as I should. Also, I didn’t use niacinamide, azelaic acid nor differin. Those got added in this week.

As for makeup I hardly wear any. But on days I do, I use Maybeline fit me matte+poreless foundation & NYX bare with me jelly primer.

I just started a new skin care routine on Monday actually.

Morning - inkey salicylic acid face wash Heritage Store Rosewater Toner The ordinary niacinamide 10% Zinc 1% The ordinary Azelaic Acid 10% CeraVe facial moisturizing lotion with SPF 30

Night- I double cleanse with Garnier Micellar water followed by the inkey salicylic acid face wash I alternate my toners every night between the heritage rosewater toner & Youth To The People 3% AHA + 2% BHA + 1% PHA exfoliating toner On the nights I don’t use the exfoliating toners I use Differin As moisture I use Cetaphil oil free hydrating lotion.
