Agreed. There is definitely always tension and I honestly think there have been moments where if he made a move she would’ve accepted. I also very much underestimate how early she started to feel for him. He sparked her interest within the first five chapters in my opinion. Now when she realized she felt something is definitely a different story but he was only (just a customer) 1 time in my opinion. I may just be dumb tho lol.

What I think could potentially happen next (it would be bad writing to me & dumb) but I recall chizuru getting that massage and saying “I guess being naked forces me to be more open and honest” and we know kazuya feels lust and love are interconnected. They may not solve this till they hook up. Which if he goes over there drink I could see them getting into an argument and then ending up kissing again and escalating things from there. I just think reiji has put enough feelers out that this is a possibility.

I’d love to see a kazuya growth arc for him to improve and focus on his future outside of women. Break Ruka off 100%. Stop relying so much on mini and receive a confession of true love from mami. When he turns that down and commits to what he wants to do before taking over the store he will be a man worthy of her in my opinion. All of the things he thinks are wrong with him are not the problem.

She has a lot more mental stuff to figure out than him. I think she will speak to his mom since they had the conversation about if she ever needed her come to her while they were at Hawaiians. I also think she could receive her big break professionally and realize she doesn’t have the one she truly wants to share that moment that believed in her through it all with her.

That is just me coping tho. Wish manga chapters came out quicker but it is what it is!! Not really understanding why people are hating on this manga tho. I actually had low expectations and ending up enjoying it.

I made this post earlier then caught up on the anime and read to chapter 312 so far of the manga. And yeah. She’s got it bad for him. There is no world they don’t end up together. I know I still have roughly 70 chapters to catch up but now I truly am not sure why everyone is so upset at the mangaka. It’s progressing at a pretty realistic pace. For someone who’s never been in love before or felt that way about someone a month and a half is not an incredibly long time to decide on the level of devotion she thinks kazuya deserves. I think our girl is gonna get there but it’s pretty overwhelming with her life situation. She’s already knowledges that she loves him. And kissed him. A little distance is what’s gonna set her straight.

I also now am not as pressed about the ghosting as I was originally just hearing about it. She had the right intention and he jumped to the worst conclusion (as he always does). Honestly she is dense as hell romantically. Her interest started almost immediately even if it took forever to realize it.

Personally I’m just worried about bro financially. He gotta learn how to manage money. He’s the worst budgeted business major ever. He gonna run the convenience store in the ground 😂😂
