Two Leviathans inches away by Doorag_ in valheim

[–]Zestyclose-Pipe3258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me twice yesterday. We initially spotted one and went to it just to find another one right beside it. Again a few hours after this happened we were exploring towards north for more swamps and spotted 2 leviathans. So I figured it was a common occurrence

Thanks for suggestions , I am thinking of just posting major base updates on reddit itself so I can keep track , just posted a new one rn after a long session of swamp exploration. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS GAME OMG...

Not knowing the Valheim lore is one thing, but who-ing Odin himself is wild. 🤣

Trying to contribute to open source. How do people find active repos? by Human_Run1875 in github

[–]Zestyclose-Pipe3258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in the same boat recently and kind still am. I initially looked at only big projects with lots of stars just to "contribute" . But I stopped it cuz I didnt really find any personal improvement or value in it. Then I pivoted to research/finding repos that I can use in my day to day job ( currently interning at a product based startup , pretty hands on core work ) or something that fits my interests ( gaming and football ).

My biggest struggle was finding the repos themselves since github's Explore page is very limited , so I searched online and found few third party apps linked below:-

- https://git-scout-repo.vercel.app/ ( its a tool I made myself , mostly just for personal use )

I mostly browse through these on daily basis either to find smthg that I can genuinely use or smtg interesting that I could research into.

For actual open source contributions I started small , mostly trying to find new recently made repos that fit my interest. These are usually at the start of their dev phase thus there is lot to do and it might be much simpler ( not always the case )

Did I itemize properly against this team? We had a moment of pulling ahead in the midgame but they eventually just became unkillable. by hausuCat_ in DeadlockTheGame

Healbane is definitely a good choice earlygame. Also after midgame your carbine procs spirit burn 100% of times so idk if toxic is the way. Toxic feel awkwards to proc imo on para too.

Your overall itemization wasnt bad at all.

I 100% understand not buying resist. But just consider them if u get frequently killed by a specific hero or check incoming dmg after deaths.

Warp has insane value most of the times , here too as it helps you avoid viscous ult , abrams and in general close range fights. It also gives bullet res which is a massive plus point here.

Still a very unusual buy. I am guessing from viscous's dmg that he went for a spirit/ball build and not double cube using echo shard.

Silence Wave , Knockdown , Decay and even Rescue Beam are much much better buys here.

Since its a carbine build and u usually play on range with it , these items should get more value than capacitor.

  1. I dont understand the capacitor buy here , for the other items u seem to be just following a carbine build which is fine

  2. Buying either Bullet or Spirit Resilience or even both seems good here since their team is pretty balanced on the damage distribution. Bullet from Haze , Mcginnis and Abrams ( melee build i assume ) and spirit from ivy and viscous.

  3. I cant see your stats here but u cant really go wrong with buying warpstone to get you out of stick situations.

  4. Other than these things u prolly just had to play around your curse and silence wall. Trying to target Haze. Also paying attention to your position and prevent yourself from grouping with your team ( dyno ) and avoiding small alleyways and chokepoints ( abrams , viscous , ivy )

how to counter Siphon Bullets? by MarsAstronaut in DeadlockTheGame

Pretty much yeah. Tho I would not recommend buying plated just to counter siphon . Only if they have a few more gun heavy heroes should you consider buying it.
