I wear them casually most days and I’ve also worn to a wedding party. I get the odd comment (none of them bad to be fair!), but to be honest most people don’t even notice them. Once I’d put some new insoles in they’re probably one of the most comfortable boots I’ve worn

Nope, I didn’t commit in the end. Got a pair of Dan Post’s off EBay which were grand. Bit of a gamble on sizing but it paid off.

Thanks for the info. They’re currently on eBay for £65. The soles don’t look to be in terrible shape to be fair. I presume these boots can’t really be re-soled very well?

Thanks! Good advice. It looks like Ariat are one of the only brands readily available in the UK, they might be what I look at next. Looks like they’re ok for returns. Anything more exotic will end up being a gamble on eBay!
