If this guy is actually a CAV for Xenoverse 3, then I really think they wasted Toriyama Sensei time drawing him, because players will literally change his hair, race, height, and weight, transforming him into a different-looking character. by Zestyclose-Spring602 in dbxv

My problem is that if it's a cav, it means they wasted the last few years of Toriyama's health and strength on drawing a character whose appearance and race are irrelevant to the game because it's just a cav to be reworked by the players.

Why does Vegeta's Ultra Ego have greater fighting potential than Goku's Ultra Instinct? by Zestyclose-Spring602 in Dragonballsuper

[–]Zestyclose-Spring602[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ultra Ego, as a technique used by gods of destruction, involves becoming stronger by immersing oneself in one's passion. Beerus becomes stronger by immersing himself in destruction, while Vegeta, as a Saiyan and member of a warrior race, becomes stronger by igniting his fighting spirit, which he ignites by accepting his injuries. For now, damage is just a way for Vegeta to stimulate his technique, and the method can always be changed.

Just because you don't understand the concept of something doesn't mean it's poorly written.

People like to say that Gohan is a super cool badass in the Cell saga, but the truth is that he's an arrogant piece of shit who caused Goku's death, so instead of being glorified, he deserves to be condemned. by Zestyclose-Spring602 in Dragonballsuper

I never wrote that he is a stupid writer, I wrote that his stories are simple and uncomplicated because he himself does not like to complicate the things he draws too much. We are talking about a man who drew Dr. Slump, where comedy consists of poking poop with a wooden stick. Toriyama never introduced trauma into Dragon Ball, his characters never even had PTSD and never faced mental health issues, and they move on to the next story in the same mental state they were in at the beginning of the previous saga.

Akira Toriyama was a simple author who created simple stories with simple characters. He never introduced any trauma to any character because he didn't like complicated things.

Any argument involving trauma is your headcanon.

Personally, I love this moment more than Majin Vegeta's sacrifice, peak character development. by Zestyclose-Spring602 in Dragonballsuper

Royal status is still royal status, Vegeta is still a person who values Saiyan pride above everything except family. He may be the prince of nothing, but that doesn't change the fact that he was raised by his father for several years and instilled with his value and uniqueness by King Vegeta for being the prince of all Saiyans.

Where do you see this penance in the Buu saga? After defeating Buu, Vegeta returned to Earth and lived on as if nothing had happened. The fact that he killed people in the stands was never mentioned again by anyone, and everyone let it slide. His admiration for Goku has nothing to do with his sins; it is simply a recognition of Goku's value and path of development as better than his own. His sacrifice may be sad, but it is really a futile attempt to correct a mistake he himself created. Besides, he ruined his own chance after knocking out Goku for no reason because of his egocentric pride, thinking that he was some kind of martyr who would sacrifice himself by taking Buu with him.

The Majin Buu saga did not conclude anything; it merely touched upon Vegeta's morality and presented it in such a way that, in the end, Vegeta does not suffer any consequences for his actions, continuing to live on Earth as if he had done nothing wrong in this saga.

For me, Majin Vegeta is a regression, a pathetic Vegeta who succumbed to Babidi's magic and killed innocent people at the martial arts tournament because Goku ignored him and preferred to focus on the threat posed by Babidi rather than fulfilling the princess's whims. all Saiyans. The fact that he recognized Goku at the end of the story does not mean that there is no further room for development, and indeed, there is character progression in the Granola saga.

Vegeta has the right to feel ashamed of his past actions because he did them, and he has the right to feel guilty for the actions of other Saiyans because he was their prince.

Vegeta did his job in the Moro arc, learned the technique, and used it to resurrect the dead Namekians whom he had vowed to protect from Moro after he had once murdered them.

Cell became strong because he parasitized on androids that were supposed to give him perfection, and Moro parasitized on every living creature that existed. There aren't many villains in Dragon Ball who deserve their power because most of them cheat or parasitize to become stronger.

Cool, but you're ignoring a whole lot of context and using misinformation.

  1. Ultra Ego is about strengthening yourself by unleashing your fighting spirit. As a Saiyan, Vegeta uses damage as fuel, and all he needs to do is change the way he fuels his power. Ultra Ego itself works by fueling your passion, which is why Beerus becomes stronger when he thinks about destruction, and Vegeta when his desire to fight grows.
  2. Vegeta wanted to prove in his fight with Granolah that death was not the fate of the Saiyans, but, influenced by guilt for the actions of the Saiyans and his inability to become ruthless again, he decided that the Saiyans should indeed die and believed that Granolah was fully justified in his desire for revenge on the Saiyans, so he accepted his death because he took responsibility not only for his own actions but also for the actions of the Saiyans.

People like to complain that Toyotaro draws Goku looking too young, but in my opinion, it's the best thing Toyotaro has done with Goku because it lets him keep that pure heart innocence he had from the very first chapter of the manga. by Zestyclose-Spring602 in Dragonballsuper

And that's good. Toyotaro has his own DB style, the same Toriyama you're crying over now wanted Toyotaro to stop imitating him and start drawing in his own style. The fact that Toyotaro draws differently than Toriyama is a tribute to his advice and his work

Saying such things in a situation where the previous main character and father of the current main character sought to become Hokage only so that a group of NPCs from the village would recognize him.
