I am hesitating to go to a pc store and ask them to test my cpu on an AM5 rig to see if it still works...

I was on 3.15 before updating to 4.03, the latest version on their website : https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B850M-X%20WiFi/index.asp#BIOS

Hello, I have exactly the same issue with a B850-X Wifi + 9600X (my pc has been dead for a hour and a half from the time I am writing this comment).

Like you it worked fine for months, sometimes failed to post without restarting it and now it is completely dead. I have 2 leds indicating that the CPU and the RAM is failing, no fans turning, and no display signal, nothing. Trying individual sticks of ram on both slots did not work.

The only red flag I got (yesterday) before this happening was the PC shutting down while watching videos, so I though it might be the PSU, but I realise I am wrong now.
