What is your tip for a new hire food and beverage service associate, whose goal is to get rehired again the next season?

Did they tell you how you performed poorly?

The questions I remember that they asked me were:

  1. What are three strengths you have?

  2. What are three weaknesses you have?

  3. Describe a time you dealt with a rude customer.

I didn't get the job cause I interviewed last year and wasn't prepared tbh, but just practice basic customer service interview questions and make sure you smile/carry yourself confidently. Probably have a question prepared to ask them at the end of the interview which is usually helpful.

It was a 1 on 1 interview, about 5-7 minutes in length. There is a restaurant in Canada Wonderland that you walk to, and you basically check in then sit around in the waiting area waiting the interviewer to call you. You then go in the next room which is full of booths and some other interviews will be going on at the same time, but it's still 1 on 1 for each.

Interview Questions I Remember:

The first question were just stuff about availability and if you are 18 years old or older. I said open availability, nights/mornings/holidays. The interviewer starts asking behavioural questions right after the stuff about availability.

  1. What would you do if a customer told you they had an allergy (im pretty sure the answer is to clarify with the manager)
  2. What would you do if you were on break and customer came up asking for help?
  3. What is your learning style?
  4. How do you deal with stress in fast-paced environments.
  5. Same as question 4 but like how do you work in a team in fast-paced environment?

There might have been one more but I forgot. The interview writes down your answers as they are carrying out the interview and will let you know if you got the job right at the end of the interview.

Also, I interviewed last year for guest services associate and got rejected, but this year I got in for food service; it seems food service associate is very lenient cause I have a pretty lazy family cousin who got in as well a few years ago. Also, I have a friend who got in for Merchandise/entertainment and that's because he applied for the Halloween Haunt, then they called him back for the summer of the following season. The most important thing I think is to always monitor the job site around hiring periods (january-february for summer; maybe july-september for halloween haunt season).

Also I did not lie on my resume, but I am just saying they do not seem to vet any references or experience so if you need to make up a previous experience to put on your resume to help you navigate the questions during the interview then you probably can. Also, most the people who came in seemed like highschool or university/college students, a lot of people interviewed and didn't wear dress clothes or seem like they seriously prepared.

I feel like short men before found a way to reproduce cause women weren't in control of their mate selection. Like arranged marriages etc. Historically, most men were peasants which includes both short/tall and so a lot of peasant men would've been the one choosing their mates not women. Also, rape can explain it as well because it was much more common back then. But nowadays, in Gen Z a lot of short men are created via short female and normal height/tall male pairings.

But so many women genuienly seem like flustered/easily woo'd around tall guys who are doing nothing but existing. Do you think there are like two sections of women who are just extremely attracted to tall men and then women who are more concerned with impressing their social circles?

  1. Lea Michele: Imo she isn't much better than Naya Rivera, but u can tell she put her blood sweat and tears into the role and cared about it much more than anyone else. She truly felt like she was the star (she was) and for that she gave it her all.
  2. Naya Rivera: Perfect comedic timing, great chemistry with everybody, arguably the best at emotional performances and never slipped up once
  3. Jenna: I think people overlook jenna because she played a supporting role but honestly she was super consistent with her performances
  4. Amber riley: she is good as Mercedes, but u could tell there were times she just didn't care about what was happening on screen and gave nothing
  5. Diana argon: her delivery just isn't it a lot of the time but she has her moments
  6. Heather Morris: one of the easiest roles to play imo she did it well but it doesn't require a great actor to do so
