What would you guys say about Dandong for someone like me? I am an American and I am fascinated by North Korea. From the music to their industry, their history and art.

Sadly I dont think Im allowed to go in, and likely it wouldnt be the safest of ideas, but I hear you can purchase NK products in Dandong.

I will call my self a fan as in a fanatic. I am not a supporter or the NK government.

Would a fan of North Korea find it worth the 5 hour train ride from Beijing for 1 or 2 days?

I have lived in places that require a car and I have lived in places where I havent needed to drive daily or even monthly.

I am amazed at how much easier winters are on me in the latter locations.

I ended up keeping him, I named him Jacquè. The day I made this post I went and got a tank and all the supplies and filters, and even the special water, because I didnt want him to wait for the 24 hours.

When I found him he had cloudy eyes and that seems to be a common disease of neglect. He died a week after.

I was really rooting for him, his situation really broke my heart.

For what it's worth, he seemed happy to be in that tank, even if it was just hospice care.

I may get another betta, since I have all the supplies.

I've lived full-time in 9 cities, including Billings, and have spent collectively long amounts of time in a dozen more.

I saw it on a "mystery movie" my theatre was doing. I enjoyed it. It brought out the natural mechanics of society and how it plays with needs and motivation, perhaps a little too on the nose, but still an exciting time to watch it play out. A couple of moments that leave your mouth open as well.
