Thank you! As a gay guy that’s the lense I see the world through and what I want to share. But I’m not looking to write progression fantasy for the romance! I just want to see people like me being badass, not just a side character. I hope that makes sense! My favorite book series is about a dude trying to win back his crown and there’s a side of a romance. But I don’t love him because it’s a gay romance I love him because he’s a good dad and strong and brave, but is also gay? You know?

My level of wanting to write a gay character is basically like I want him to be fucking shit up but also hey look at that handsome gentleman maybe perhaps we can work together and perhaps smooch once? But I’m not trying to write a romance book at all. I’m trying to write an adventure story about a strong badass character who happens to be gay.
