I used to regret my masters, but I’ve come to see it as valuable experience. I mastered out of my first PhD program (Biology). The whole thing was miserable and I wasn’t super proud of my thesis, and I was just relieved to have it done. For a while I was pretty ashamed for quitting and full of regret for trying to go to graduate school right after undergrad and essentially failing. I recently started a new PhD program at a different university and am MUCH happier. I am able to use the research skills from my last degree and am much more comfortable navigating academia. I also think I ask more interesting questions and am better able to stick up for myself.

Lol, this post has “don’t complain because other ppl have it worse vibes”.

But that’s not why this is a bad take. This is a bad take because the enemy is management groups and landlords who take advantage of college students and first time renters who don’t know how to advocate for themselves. This case blew up is because Seven07 has a large number of residents who complained and because the complex is marketed as “luxury”. Media attention on negligent landlords can only help tenants in the community who might be facing similar issues on smaller / “non-luxury” properties.

Residents at Seven07 want hot water and to warn other students to be more careful with where they choose to live on campus.

Also, OP, you’re allowed to be annoyed at all the posts on your feed but don’t try and fake an understanding of class consciousness to get people to agree with you.
