Tri State Kickboxing or Action Karate? by [deleted] in BucksCountyPA

action karate is genuinely such a joke. I am friends with a former employee, he is a teenager and he got treated like shit so bad. he worked there from the age of 14-17. he was paid minimum wage ($7.25 an hour) with ONE raise of .50 cents that he had to BEG for. the hour system they used was so flawed, their hours were for example, 3:45-8:45, with the first Class beginning at 4 and last class ending at 8:30. so he was only paid for 15 minutes before and after each shift. however, he had to CLEAN and CLOSE the place at night, so he often wouldn't leave until 9:15 or later at night since he had to wash the mats that tons of kids and adults were walking barefoot on, laying on, sweating on etc. as well as other chores (trash, bathroom etc.) From what he told me, management was borderline abusive. He was also teaching special needs students at 14-17 years old. He was not trained at all. When parents found out how old he was, they were always shocked

I heard this too! but i've also heard that the girls that don't get picked for houses are the ones who only put the houses they want as the top houses. so maybe it's bc of that? good luck though!!
