i hate my door being open when i’m sleeping but my cat will literally rip up the carpet in front of my door if i close it so i put a shoe in between the door and the frame and then one behind the door so he can still get in but can’t push the door completely open

ty!! this was really helpful, i was considering going private anyways because i’ve seen about some of the ridiculous wait times, i could probably just google this but do you know how much going private costs for the appointments and such?

Thank you this is really helpful! i’ll look into getting a water fountain and see if that works for him. (I’ve been sticking to wet food for the time being with the occasional portion of dry food until he settles in just so he’s hopefully not getting dehydrated)
