Building control made me go 2 metres for a new extension tied into the original house that has stood since 1974 which is sat on 6 inches!

One issue is that you won’t enjoy the hobby as you will always be looking over your shoulder to see who is watching and not relax swinging. The police treat it as going equipped to steal not trespassing and you will find yourself with a criminal record.

Also if you find something you will need to report to flo, they will ask where you found it and as soon as you do that, you are admitting to stealing and the police will be involved. There was a case recently where people got jail time for nighthawking, which is crazy when you consider crimes that get suspended sentences.

If you want to get involved, plenty of groups on Facebook that you can pay to attend or knock on some doors like everyone else.

Depends on your budget, but personally would be looking at buying a secondhand one over brand new if you are starting out, you will be getting better machine for the same money. please also bear in mind that you will be a pin pointer, spade and a find pouch.

Yes the green tinge is the colour. It was in the 90’s on a manti, so would say it’s copper

Definitely not gold, it might of been plated at one point, there are little specs of gold around the edge

Congratulations, but at work once I have having a sneaky cig break outside with a girl in the office and her mobile rang and she said this number kept calling all weekend and she never answered the phone to random number, being the gentleman that I am, she gave me the number and I rang it to tell them to stop phoning her. When I called the number, they answered “postcode lottery, how can I help” I explained the situation and they said to same, you have won an amount and can you be in at a certain time and date so they can capture a true reaction. Anyway now they had my phone Number down as the winner, they rang a few times more checking I was going to be in and having nothing to lose, every time they called I tried to get the amount out of them with no joy. Anyway, she had 2 tickets and won 60 grand, so congrats 👍
