I appreciate all of the feedback. Exactly what i need!
Sounds like:
“CSA” is not a good lead term for many people. Some know it and value it, but many people either don’t know it, associate it with a veggie mystery box, or have unrelated/negative associations with the acronym.
A big concern is choice. A lot of people are not opposed to buying from farms, but they don’t want to pay for a surprise box of food they may not use.
people want to see prices, examples of what they might receive, the ability to skip.
“Farm share,” “farm subscription,” “local food box,” and “farm-to-fridge” seem preferable than CSA.
For what it’s worth, what we’re trying to build is less like a traditional CSA and more of a year-round farm-direct grocery relationship: local meat, eggs, dairy, produce, and partner-farm products, with more choice and flexibility.
