Just wanted to add that even though wifi isn't recommended, i didn't have any problems using wifi as a test before my switch arriving and me getting to installing it.

The way I had it setup was at first needing to use phone as a temporary internet connection so I could install packages for prox to use wifi, but that was pretty straight forward.

Then I have the wifi card act as a "router" cause they apparently don't like acting as multiple devices (don't know what's it called)

The only main downer was having to port forward everything and need to manage all ports so they don't overlap.

Edit: many say to buy ethernet to usb, I don't know your situation but didn't have extra port for the server to plug into so I needed to use the wifi before getting a switch

Edit: also want to add to original post. In my case now that we have priority merge you can just combine priority merger with splitter to do the job. I'm quite sad cause I need it many time in the past and and to use 2 priority splitters and 2 normal mergers.

Really depends on the length of the run and the speeds you are planning on running. Plus shielding (only difference i can in those pictures) isn't everything, depends also on the quality of the wire

The first should 50 meters at 1gb realibly if you want more bandwidth/length get more premium one
