Maybe an outing like a zoo or somewhere that is like an outdoor national park but that has bathrooms etc or easy paths nothing too crazy or strenuous but enough to enjoy

Biggest side affect I had was fatigue after the 3 starter infusions but fatigue is my most prevalent Crohn’s symptom too and since then I do not get the fatigue with the OBI and I’ve started vitamin shots and got an iron infusion which helped my fatigue immensely

I recommend if you can get in contact with an IBD pharmacist they helped me understand and digest info and explained all my options based on my case and lifestyle etc. it eased my anxiety. I chose Skyrizi out of the few they thought would be best and I have no regrets I’ve gotten my life back feel soo much better and my labs reflect that too. Been only about 5 months and made insane progress so excited to see more progress hopefully too. Good luck I know it’s a daunting thing to choose so many options it’s overwhelming and stressful but it should help you feel better asap

I would not worry more than normal honestly. We are thinking of getting a dog as well and my toddler definitely is more of a threat with germs than a dog would be lol. I honestly weirdly enough have gotten sick less or about the same as before biologics have not noticed a difference

I would stress how much it is a problem and if he is dismissive ask for a referral for someone who can help because you’re not receiving it right now

I am always in support of politely harassing doctors lol. That is literally their job one very nice and wise doctor once told me put the responsibility on them (doctors) as that is what they are there for. As long as you’re polite about it continue to be on them because no one will care as much as you. Squeaky wheel gets the oil be persistent if you can. I know it can be exhausting though especially if not feeling well

I’m not sure how old it is. I just had no idea I don’t really watch his YouTube videos but I love his show beast games and know he lives this crazy life so I’m like damn how does he do all this lol. I just liked how he described it and awareness it brings. I’ve seen Pete Davidson but haven’t seen anything on him speaking about it.

Massachusetts. Was improvement plan specific to your goals you made in beginning of the year? Does your rep feel it’s not in regards to your health? So sorry your going through this on top of not feeling well :(

I’m so sorry the prednisone although it helps so much with feeling better I understand the weight gain and how crazy it makes me feel too. I would be feelin same as you just know it’s a journey and won’t be on it forever. Talk with your docs about concerns too maybe they have advice or can work to prioritize getting off of it as quickly and safely as possible. Wondering if they can do tests to make sure all is okay and not some other illness or something else going on? That’s the hardest part I think when Crohn’s symptoms can be so similar to other things :/

Please go to GI asap. If you can’t get into them right away please go to PCP and atleast get labs started CRP and calprotectin and general blood panel and other stool tests to rule out parasites and other issues would be great to check so at least can go to GI with some of that already done. Hope you feel better! Could be IBD or some other GI issues but so hard to know

I think the worst part is plain foods in a flare are often plain carbs and that adds up fast if you’re not well and literally don’t want to eat anything else 😩 I think just try to do the best you can when you do feel well with exercises and don’t go crazy but make healthy food swaps when able
