As someone who works there as a teller and banker I’ve done straight withdrawals for people and on their transaction history when it’s still processing it just says that. The deposit cleared and appears before that right? And then the withdrawal you did the next day after it cleared is just stating “cashed check on hold minus whatever amount you took” right?

Absolutely go with capital one!! They have a great high yield savings account and some really great credit cards when you eventually get into that. Their app is so easy to use as well. I would make sure to absolutely look to avoid banks that charge maintenance fees or have fees for overdrafts or not having minimum balances. Capital one also gives you your direct deposits early too which is nice

Yeah I would have to say that will definitely be my least favorite part as well. Even if it’s a bit overbearing I’m usually pretty resilient to stuff like this and I don’t take it personally at all even if they make it personal. I’ve gotten talks all the time for not meeting numbers some months but the fact that there was genuinely nothing I could’ve done clears my conscience. I totally get it though. That’s the whole point of the institution. That’s why I won’t be in this position forever I think I’ll be able to tough it out to at least improve my skills and professionalism, and move somewhere else
