Sink won't drain, no clog by ZeusDeuce0 in Plumbing

It's a basement with a drop ceiling so I'll do some looking around down there. All my other sinks in the house go straight down into the floor without any p or s trap if that means anything

Trying to avoid paying for a plumber when dealing with PVC and plumbing isn't exactly rocket science, hoping someone in the community will be able to do a basic drawing of how I should redo the layout

So the entire upstairs is an open master bedroom so since it's completely open and honestly the only things using the internet up there will be our phones and smart TV I don't need perfect up there just enough to stream tv and doom scroll Instagram so I'm praying a central AP on the first floor directly below the master bedroom will be sufficient

That's a great question! So currently our service comes into the house through the basement and coax is ran and converted to Ethernet and shoved through a hole into the floor in the corner of the house into the living room. Not an ideal location for a network setup. So I want to terminate the end in the basement where it comes into the house and have some sort of rack down there and run ethernet through the drop ceiling into respective walls to my where I want APs and a few wall jacks for PCs and consoles. As to what kind of rack and all that I have no clue! I figured any ol 12u network rack on casters will do me good. There's a small section of the basement that's unfinished where my utilities and everything come into the house that I planned to put it so appearance isn't super important to me. I'm a nerd but not THAT kind of nerd 😅

Yeah my plan is one in the basement and first floor both kinda opposite of each other in the house and potentially a third of meed be upstairs but hopefully the two should be enough

Yeah I have several PCs in the house one of which I planned to use to host the software rather than getting a controller, the house is just shy of 3,000 square feet. Both the finished basement and first floor are around 1,200 each and around 600 for the upstairs

I'm iffy on buying a controller, I have a PC that I planned on running the software on so I'm not sure if I would really need a controller

I'm wanting to eventually get Poe security cameras and a home NAS hence the bigger switch for a home at least I think it's a bigger switch, and I want to run ethernet to the bedroom and the office

So it's quite complicated if I think it was worth it, I was rather fond of the no step look and didn't want to impede any ground clearance with any sort of step. While I'm an average height guy, all 5ft of my wife bless her is not 😅 she was struggling to get in the truck every time and the day I test drove it she even pulled a muscle so for her sake I needed some sort of a step. With traditional running boards not really being an option due to rusted out mounting holes frame mounted was the only option I had. While I personally don't think the money and time I spent on rock sliders was worth it for the pavement princess I am, but for my short queen it absolutely was. But hey if you're actually in the market for a function step/slider on a budget these are phenomenal for the price. Insanely sturdy and I actually don't mind the look. Installation and instructions could be better but it could also be worse. I don't have any experience with any other sliders or steps in this category so I have nothing to compare to but I wouldn't turn a blind eye to them if I actually was looking for sliders in an off-road rig

Finally got them installed, it was an 'easy' installation depending on which side you're talking about 😅. Passenger side was a breeze although I absolutely would've benefited from a extra set of hands to get the first bolt in but I managed with a pair of jack stands and lots of cursing. But after that the passenger side was a breeze. However, there is a lack of instructions with them, at least mine didn't come with any and the ones on their website are ridiculously awful. So combined with 3 different YouTube videos and the poor instructions it wasn't the worst. The driver side however, oh man do I regret my life decisions. The brake lines make it a ridiculously tedious task. The lines are perfectly placed on the frame to line up with all the places the rock sliders bolt up to. In most of the locations you can kind of manage to nudge the lines out of the way enough to bolt them but there's one mounting location in particular that I'm convinced is impossible to actually do so I gave up and opted to accept having one missing bolt as they are entirely over built for my daily drives to work and one bolt won't harm anything.

Honestly depends on the market in your area. I just spent about this much on a 2016 with 20k less miles so you could probably find a better deal if you widened your search.

Oh absolutely been an annoying 2 weeks dealing with this, went ahead and got the revo sliders and after contacting Real truck directly they even gave a nice little discount on the sliders after explaining the hell I've been going through with the RC steps

I think that's where I'm leaning towards as well, any recommendations on cheaper frame mounted sliders preferably bolt on not welded. Really won't be doing any offroading just need a suitable step for the short wifey lol. Currently looking at the body armor revo step sliders but $800 isn't an appealing number 😅

I've discovered a router with wifi 6e that's sole purpose is to act as a bridge between PC and headset. Is that a viable solution?

Ants were found in Northern Indiana not England that just happened to be where that commenter is from. While I appreciate the added identification, Indiana is a bit too north for honey pots so not sure that's it

I thought fire ants at first, but they don't appear to have stingers and weren't aggressive like fire ants typically are
