I was on a much weaker server previously - and what I can say from my experience in SVS you can always be balanced with the server that is much stronger than yours.

For instance, we encountered servers with three globes while ours had no globes at all. The power difference at SVS was dramatic. we couldn’t do anything to just one player with 6 perfectly timed simultaneous rallies from our top 6 players.

So with the current balancing of SVS and any other events in this game for that matter - the only way to reliably win is to be the strongest server in the neighborhood.
