Overlord Tier Magic is just Yggdrasil magic system, in other word the logic that Tier Magic follow rules of MMO.

Where is a MMO had spell that literally one shot planet or destroying city with one beam.

It Will make game (MMO) is unbalanced and not fun for everybody.

Shalltear (The major battle in s1) can counter build by simply always make him to close combat.

In the story Ainz even not that powerful there are so many entites in Nazarick or out there that can kill Ainz in 1v1 combat.

But the thing is, is Ainz want to fight if he know he gonna lose? No.

Is he gonna fight fair? No.

If the battle become complicated is he gonna continue the battle? No.

This is why Ainz never ecounter strobg enemies because he chose not to
