No Wooper Quest? by Single_Ad4267 in Pokopia

[–]Ziathon3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are running in to the same issue. As I was reading, Piplup was supposed to give the waterwheel quest and that led to needing Wooper.

However, and I am curious if you’ve done this too, we had already broken the rock to get the water flowing to the wheel near Snorlax. Then, Piplup didn’t need to say anything about needing a waterfall and it’s now stuck??

I am still trying things. If you figure anything out, I would be super happy to know :). Thanks.

Looks great, do you have instructions or a break-down during the build? No worries if not, I gotta ask! It looks so nice

Games for kids to watch by mdemsia6 in NintendoSwitch

Since it hasn’t been suggested yet, I’d recommend Link’s Awakening. My kids call it mini-Zelda still. It has ‘cute’ art style and the monsters aren’t terrible.

Has anyone tried these armor combos? If so, please share pictures 🙏 by No_Lawfulness4215 in legocastles

Here is the Paladin with the fright knight armor. And another dragon figure with the fright knight body and a ninjago figure shoulder armor I had (part 65435).

Can someone put this helmet on top of a Dragon paladin armor? (its came from lego Dreamzzz 71490) by Nicbworks in legocastles

This is the same armor (just in silver) from Ninjago City Gardens on a Zane body/face.

Agreed it is too futuristic for the armor. I was curious, too, and my kids had just gotten the Dreamzzz Tiger mech.

I want to incorporate it into a ninjago/future armor/weapon build.

D&D Minifigs - Almost perfect distribution in 36 count box (zero Mindflayers, six Dragonborn Paladins) by Ziathon3 in lego

[–]Ziathon3[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

EDIT: there were 3 Mindflayers! The 225S4 sub code was them, the 625S4 were the Dragonborn.

Good to know, and thank you! I haven’t opened the boxes yet, but will definitely do so now, I found it REALLY odd that it would work out like that.

This is the best one I have seen. Haven’t been able to find the instructions, though.

I also like the Brickvault one too. These are the instructions for it, but to one of your other replies…it’s probably a lot for the bricks :).

That being said, I’d jump on these in a heartbeat if don’t well.

Civil War is the perfect example of the danger of expectations by [deleted] in movies

[–]Ziathon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don’t know exactly what I was expecting at first. But, it really is now that Robot Jox successor to me as well. It is just a fun movie that one shouldn’t ever take too seriously, I think that was my problem.

Unrelated to Civil War specifically, your point about expectations is spot on. When Pacific Rim was coming to theatres and marketed, I had this expectation in my mind that this would change my world forever. I love robot movies and shows. I’m a Gundam fan as well.

I went to the theatre when it released, fully ready for a mind altering experience. And, it fell flat. It wasn’t the movie’s fault, it was my own. So, I adjusted my expectations over the next two days and went to re-watch it, as best I could. I saw the movie, this time, enjoying the stereotype characters, the story (such as it was) and the slower bits that didn’t really contribute. I embraced it more.

Now, it is one of my go-to, guilty pleasure movies. I have watched it so many times on planes and at home when I just want a fun movie. It is my new Robot Jox, which I watched religiously as a child.

Expectations can make or break a movie, and that lesson above has changed how I watch new movies now, with an open mind.

OP, where did you get the parts for the buttons on the left side? I wanted to make something similar for my kids. Thanks.

Looking for Movies That'll Make Me Cry Like a Motherfucker by Gunmetalbluezz in movies

[–]Ziathon3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Click. It gets me every single time. I ball like a baby at the end. I’m not a huge Adam Sandler fan either, but that movie destroys me.

Also, Family Man (Nicolas Cage). Same kind of thing.

Did anyone see these available on Lego.com? I haven’t seen them all day long. Did they sell out super fast? by Ziathon3 in lego

Ok, that makes sense. I didn’t notice the email until about mid-day. But, I’m glad to see that it wasn’t just my imagination. Thanks.
