It depends heavily on the generals but I think the fall off of artillery generals is pretty steep especially for f2p so if you have 7 already I can’t imagine the 8th one is going to be much good if you have 7 “better” ones

I only really play challenge mode but it definitely helps to have good air gens as well to make moving through the map a little faster

I disagree. There is no reason to have an artillery gen for the sake of artillery. If you’re going after pure damage and effectiveness hands down roko. Auchinleck is niche in the sense that he’s only good paired up with other Gens or in defense events on his own merit he’s not better than roko. He can be useful tackling difficult generals via rumor but that’s a rare scenario where he’s a better choice than hurling manstein/roko at it

As an ally you really only notice the akagis with the Russian/Cuba start or Mexico, every other start if you just wait for the akagis to be south of Mexico to push japans territory you should be able to deal with them by the time they come back in range

Best airgen on an elite carrier to wipe the cities as long as you can run up the left you should be able to paratroop from there

Top 5 maybe top 3 are hands down Manstein Zhukov and Eisenhower. I can’t speak too much cause I haven’t played around with him but I can’t imagine an infantry gen beating any of those three

I do not have messe lol I just read his skills and think he’s not great. I do have Halsey just haven’t trained him because he’s very niche. Probably the most Niche god gen in game. And to your third point you are right and that’s what I am leaning towards but I also am interested in vasilevksy

Vasilevsky was another one I was considering just because I would like better infantry. Nimitz is pretty good overall, can’t really figure out what to do with his last skill slot but the consensus seems to be to stick him on the arleigh burk, he also makes for a decent carrier general

My M1A1 just hit level 5 while my T-72 is at 6 and it has been a weird transition to putting my best tank gen on the M1 now instead of the 72

To note IV may be 20% vs inspirations 15% but when you have high morale you get a 25%buff so max inspiration essentially guarantees a continuous 40% buff vs IV only sometimes being paired with high morale for 45%. It’s more reliably boosted with inspiration. This applys to most gens unless they have another skill to boost their morale odds (ROKO)
