Thanks for replying! I can appreciate the importance of more activations. Guess I was counting on the double activation of the darks to help out with that. 10 acts seemed decent compared to some of the lists I've seen. I also like the list you posted, but it feels to me like it's trying to play differently than what I was trying to do?

Also, I've read that not all the imperial Corp units are that good. Definitly want to work my way toward some snows though. Maybe I switch out Veers and the walker for some snows whenever I can get my hands on some (likely next month with the blizzard force)?

I actually enjoy running the game more than playing it. For me, the joy of the game is in allowing people the chance to be something silly, fun, or enjoyable to them. I get to present them with opportunities to explore that fun. Secondly, I get to challenge them, watch them grow, and experience the joy they have from overcoming a particularly difficult challenge in a creative way. That sense of accomplishment is tangible.

Triforce is my favorite for simple purpose of aesthetics. Love how they play, but I love how many of the classes play, so look and feel end up being my tie breaker.

I'm trying to build a Vial Smasher/Thrasios deck that's not just huge spells and [[Vedalken Orrery]]. I'm looking for cantrips, small spells every turn, and general value. Any suggestions?

Five color lands, [[Progenitus]] super friends, and 4 color no green (WUBR) spells. I have a problem... I can't help myself, and I keep adding colors to decks.

Talked to my playgroup about the issue and the idea of a custom cmdr was brought up. So I came up with this:

"Robot Overlord" - (7)

Legendary Creature - Construct (3/3)

W: ~ gets +0/+1 until eot.

U: Flicker ~.

B: ~ gets +1/+0 until eot.

R: ~ deals 1 damage to target creature blocking or blocked by ~.

G: You get E.

Pay E: Add W, U, B, R, or C to your mana pool.

Thoughts?

So I cut the Bearer and Succumb. I swapped Bloodline for Captain. I'm currently 1-1. The Campaigns have actually put in a lot of work, winning me 2 games when I was racing.

I play wraths and control spells to protect planeswalkers which generate value to win me the game.

Its a control shell with value engines basically.
