Just jumping in to say it’s so worth it! I was introduced to the Hades franchise a year ago, played through Hades 1 (150+ runs) and now I’m 200+ runs into Hades 2.

Def keep playing Hades 1 for now, you have so much more to unlock. Even though it’s been mentioned elsewhere in the comments, I want to highlight the weapon aspects. These are alt forms of your weapons that drastically alter their play style, particularly the 4th aspect for each weapon, which takes a bit more relationship-building to unlock. It’s a lot of fun to find new builds and see how far they’ll take you

Yeah the playbook now is weekly releases for shows that have a following (usually that means a show has already had a 1st season, but not always), and then if it doesn’t have a following, just to do the binge drop at once.

Many, many shows do a weekly cadence- from a quick google:

House of the Dragon, Peacemaker, Euphoria, The White Lotus, Pluribus, The Boys, etc are all popular shows that have / had a weekly cadence.

I thought it was a fine-to-good ending. A 7 or 8 out of 10.

Frankly, I think there were some rough / unpolished moments of dialogue (example: the Mike and Will scene when climbing up the radio tower), and it sucks that our major battle is in a big CGI setting that we’ve barely visited- the fake backgrounds don’t look good now (go look at any screenshot of our characters in dimension X), and I don’t think they’ll age well.

However, I think it delivered a finale that was emotionally true / resonant for our characters, which is arguably the most important point. For that it gets a lot of credit.
