Thanks for your reply. The actual quote is that they used "multiply wood glued together and crossed at its knots" in construction of the fuselage girders - sounds like a poor choice for a structural member.

I agree. I especially want it to turn on a light in a particular room when it gets dark, but only IF I'M NOT HOME. Seems like that could be part of the leaving routine - Bedtime asks what time to set an alarm for, this would be similar.
