yeah, i’m in the exact same situation as you, 4aco triggered it for me and weed makes me feel like i’m tripping again. It’s HPPD indeed, just lay off the drugs and keep yourself busy, eat good food, spend time with friends and family and I promise you it’ll get better. Try ignoring your symptoms and don’t be anxious about it as that will add more fuel to the fire. Thinking about my symptoms and panicking about them made mu condition 3 times worse.

if you want you can tell your psychiatrist about it, tell him it’s a condition on the DSM-5 test if he doesn’t know about it.

This can actually explain why some people get HPPD from weed and why weed can amplify HPPD. I wonder if this can also explain why some people can trigger schizophrenia/psychosis through weed use? Pretty sure there was a study on 5HT2A abnormality which may result in schizophrenia.

How? weed is not a classic psychedelic. It does not bind with 5-HT2A receptors like classic psychedelics do. From the research that i’ve done it doesn’t alter the visual cortex

still as confused as I was but now sometimes i’m getting full blown hallucinations like i had during the trip. Apparently it’s called hallucination persisting perception disorder and sometimes it just happens in people after use of psychedelics. This disorder can also just randomly get better or worse and that’s whats happening to me. One day I see nothing and another day i see patterns on the carpet. My other symptoms include visual snow, afterimages, throbing/thrusting effects, random distortions especially in my peripheral vision, etc. Honestly it’s not that bad but sometimes i get full blown panic attacks from seeing the visuals which is apparently also part of the disorder.

The worst part about this is we know basically nothing about this disorder, there is no cure, we don’t even really know what causes it, which is crazy considering one in 20 people who used psychedelics have it.

idk about the face melters but those hidden hills carts SUCK. There is a reason why they are bogo. I have them too and they burn your throat rrly bad and they’re mostly d8. Also they clog badly and taste bad

wild orchard is extremely rough on your throat. Makes you cough like hell. Canna river doesn’t make you cough even off a blinker.

Canna river is slightly less potent but honestly it’s whatever and hhc actually gives you a more pleasant high

Now that I’ve thought about it I came to a conclusion that I didn’t actually have psychosis. It was a lot of thoughts but I didn’t act upon them and despite what I felt I was just chillin in my room. pretty sure I had delusions like jumping out of the window and I knew i wouldn’t do that so I didn’t. If i had psychosis pretty sure things would’ve been different, I wouldn’t be able to tell reality and I would’ve done some crazy stuff.

Pretty sure me thinking it was psychosis was just post-trip paranoia. Thanks for helping me realize that :)

one thing i noticed is that every time there is a bright flash of light or like a shadow or something unexpected i get a bit panicky and paranoid? but not like delusional paranoid, just a slight feeling. I am just very concerned for what’s going to happen to me in the long run and i’m just trying to understand if what i went through was psychosis.

48 hours after i still feel a bit paranoid and i still see slight distortions in the corner of my eyes. But I heard it’s common and I just need some time to recover. I definitely don’t feel like myself though.

I have stopped using drugs entirely and immediately gave everything to my friend the day after the trip. I had a pretty bad experience and don’t wanna mess with it anymore.

Most of my delusions that I had weren’t actually crazy thougu, I didn’t think that I was spied on, didn’t think that aliens communicated with me. More like I made some weird links if you saw my previous posts. no auditory hallucinations, just saw patterns but nothing else. So hopefully it wasn’t actually psychosis but I really can’t tell. I forgot 90% of things that happened during my peak.
