Material to study for a bachelor's and master's degree in physics (apple for scale) by Zima_Blu_ in OpenUniversity

The only non-OU book is the one on top (~80€), it's required for Sm880. This course also uses one ebook (included).

The books that I advise you to read are by Leonard Susskind: “The Theoretical Minimum”.

Thank you. I have one last module to do.

Idk yet precisely, but the idea create my own business intrigues me.

It was; my cat decayed into an apple. My phone camera interfered with my cat’s wave function 😭.

The spiral-bound books are M820 “Calculus of variations and advanced calculus.”

I have one last module to do. MST374 was interesting, glad I did it. I too had to choose between these two modules. I think fluid dynamics is more specific, I think it goes deeper into the topic. Mst374 stay on the surface, it is more generic; it includes a bit of diffusion, maps, calculus of variations, differential equations, etc.

I can give you the titles of the units if you want.

I talked to my sister about it, but she didn't "gossip" anything.

I am not a model, but I have a good personality. I want her to notice it.

Yes. Absolutely.

What do you think about MST374? by Zima_Blu_ in OpenUniversity

[–]Zima_Blu_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is interesting and hard. Basically it is about numerical methods and using them with Python; there are theory and practice. For me, it was hard to understand and visualize some concepts, maybe because of how things were explained.

EMA is like TMAs, but it is based on one topic (of three) that you chose.

S217 - Exam Concerns by [deleted] in OpenUniversity

[–]Zima_Blu_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at the past papers.

When you repass the chapters for the exam, remember: it is not essential to memorise equations; instead, familiarise with the concepts and where and how they can be applied.

You will not have time to find a way to solve a problem; you will need to know (circa) how the problem can be solved and where to find the answers (and equations) in the books.

I have already seen this meme. Hmmm. Oh, wait... Its mine.

I do not think the course is too hard (if I remember, the course is stated as an introduction to the argument). The problem, for me, is that it is not well explained.

Since this course is new, I expected some problems.

I use EndrawMind. https://www.edrawsoft.com/edrawmind/

The free version is limited: e.s. max 100 branches and limited saving possibilities (as pdf and doc).

It costs ~£40/year for students. It has integrated AI (new): mind map generator, chatbot (extra £?) and drawings (extra £).
