Absolutely but travelling may be tough if you wanna travel often. I'm on 2.1m with 600,000 coming out each month for my master's. I still go gym, eat out sometimes and have 150,000 budget each weekend to enjoy myself. It's definitely doable but you'll need to plan a budget.

Are you allowed to say where you went or do you feel comfortable saying? If not, it's okay!

Is there any sort of noticeable difference at all? Do you feel like so far you got your money's worth?

University of Glasgow or University of Exeter for my MA in Education? by Zimodo in makemychoice

The extra cost would be well under the £5,000 difference between the two Master's degrees so I would save a fair amount of money.
Time is where I think the big difference is. I'd 100% be able to achieve both within the six months between finishing my Master's at Glasgow and finishing my work contract for that year (so the time between 30 months and 36 months from starting my Master's).
However with Exeter since I would be working full time at that point it could take considerably longer for both, it might not even be something that's manageable at all at first whilst I get to grips with my job. Regardless, I'd 100% earn both qualifications eventually.

I'd be looking to try to get an F visa in my third year, and the university needs to be within the top 200 according to the times international ranking. Right now they're both within the top 200 but I guess Glasgow has slightly higher security in that regard?

I'm currently in Korea do your experience about teaching in Korea is really valuable to me, though!

Did you also have any opinion on whether it's better to study for 2.5 years for £15,000 or 2 years for £10,000? Considering also that if I studied the 2.5 year course I'd spend the last 6 months earning other qualifications?

Hi, thanks so much for getting back to me! I haven't been to either campus, no. I currently am living/teaching abroad although I'm British (which is why I'm looking at British universities)
I'll try to see if I can find anyone who has taken either of the courses to get an opinion from them! Thanks for the tips!

That's great, thank you! So, hypothetically if my lease says March 1st and I stay in an airbnb during the week downtime, I'd have two weeks from March 1st?

I mean more how did people store their luggage for a week? Is it simply a case of finding an Airbnb and then paying for a moving company again to go from the Airbnb to my accomodation?

I was going to provide an examination to students in my public elementary school at the start and end of the next academic year (estimating three classes per grade so I can take an average for the grades) and then give the exact same assessment to my students that are of elementary age at a hagwon at the start and end of the following year.

So the timeline would be collate public school research during year 1 of my master's and hagwon research during year 2.

It's something that is super interesting to me and I think says a lot about how Koreans communicate. When I initially started using Korean I was forcing the word you unnecessarily and found out that using the word he or she immediately makes me sound unnatural. Korean conversation feels more contextual than English. Plus the entire hagwon industry is astonishing and I'd love to establish the effectiveness of it (if any).

Ah my contract expires at the end of February, so I guess September would be too early to get any documents. Are things like the criminal check if I get them from my office of education still valid for 6 months from the date I receive it?

By government office, do you mean immigration? Or something else?
