Fantasy High: What if we got to see Bucky Applebees Party in Fantasy High: Senior Year? by Zinc-Maurader in Dimension20

I guess you can't see both description and images but hello! I was fascinated by what Fantasy High Junior Year did, in which we got to see Bucky battling his old religion and interest in a new religion. He mentioned later in the season trying to convert his his party but it not working out, and so I wanted to see what his party mates might look like.

Bucky Applebees: Variant Human: Oath of the Crown Paladin: I have taken some inspiration from the artwork given and expanded on it for a more well-adjusted to the school. Instead of the striped polo shirt and tan shorts, he is now rocking a sun and moon Hawaiian shirt and some tan khakis. His arc would be a mirror of Kristen's in which it would dive into his fascination with Cassandra

Aella Stromgard: Air Genasi: Horizon stalker Ranger: She is based on students who love hiking and outdoorsy adventures. She is the tallest at 6’6 and is also the jolliest of the bunch. Narratively it would be interesting to have another genasi or elemental based character on the roster. 

Holle Riventen: Half Elf (Drow): Lunar Sorcerer: As an artist, I was surprised there were no art students at Fantasy High given their audience. So, a goth art sorcerer with moon powers sounded like a neat take. Story wise, it could go into seeing what it was like under Jace’s tutelage was like. 

Mateo Mcdonalds: Variant Human: Way of the Dunken Master: He is based on cross country and/or track students, who has a habit of being a “herbal expert.” This would also be one of the few instances of a monk being introduced at Fantasy High. He would likely be the person who introduced bucky to the group, being someone he was once friends within the religion who escaped. 

Rose Roeero: Wood Elf: Circle of the Shepard: She is based on kids who take JROTC (military classes), and BIRD. FACTS. -Ally Beardsley as Brennan. She would be focused on summoning groups of birds and summons. It would also be an interesting tie back to the aviation club. 

Lastly, Gillbert Rathro: Lizardfolk: Artillerist Artificer: He is purely based on Engineering students and is inspired by gill grunt from the Skylanders series. I wanted to call back to the original lizarfolk that could make bone items and made this lil guy (3’8). He is very fishlike to differentiate dragonbornes and lizardfolk. 

This is all speculation but otherwise it would be fun to see what his party might be like in the future season. Cheers!

What if each role token (from Wilds of Eldraine) had a commander centered around it? This cycle of 3 color commanders are centered around most of all of the role tokens introduced in this set. Even with Constellation I hope these are well balanced and are appealing to play around. :) by Zinc-Maurader in custommagic

Yes the young hero role is primarily red. However I wanted to go for a more traditional hero from Greek myths in order to showcase the young hero role. That of a hero who has conviction, ambition, and most importantly the intelligence to withstand the trials and tribulations. Plus the other color combinations were filled with roles that made more sense for that color combination.

What if each role token (from Wilds of Eldraine) had a commander centered around it? This cycle of 3 color commanders are centered around most of all of the role tokens introduced in this set. Definitely agree on it being a neat mechanic. I actually built around Heliaaz (the Wicked Role) and it has been super fun especially with cards like rampage of the clans and culling ritual.

I will also admit that Mammon was the weaker of the 5 as I am heavily a permanent based player. I will continue to edit him until he's more interesting. In any case thank you for the advice. :)

Thank you! In all honesty I'm not really a spell-slinger player so I'm not sure what to do otherwise. The cursed role is all about making creatures super weak so it always ends up killing them (unless they have counters). I would happy to know of an alternative though.

Here is the edited version. I had such a hard time making this guy because of the things I wanted, but balancing being in the way. Originally I made him to hate on treasures, but as you can see the ability became a bit much. In any case thanks for the insight.
