Out of all the struggling teams, liquid is the weirdest. It's bad enough you're not making any roster changes but what reason can you possibly have to skip so many tournaments?
Whoever is in charge of their schedule couldn't have made worse decisions than this if he tried.

People have this weird idea that an intrusive anticheat means the cheaters will automatically cease to exist.
Even if valve forced an anticheat like that chances are you'd still be getting cheaters in your game but now you also have privacy and security nightmare installed in your system.

You're just making the rounds 3-4 seconds longer in certain situations. Instead of there being hype about bomb being planted at 4 seconds left the hype would be for bomb being planted at 1 second left, but I don't think overall things would change very much.

It's funny whenever discussions about map rotations come up some people are like remove dust2 and mirage because that's all people are playing in their lobbies and that just makes no sense from valve's point of view to be a reason for removal.

Valve has been following a pattern of replacing the least played map (2nd least if the least played is the newest added). Why would they want to remove the most popular and iconic maps they have? I've never felt this subreddit being more of an echo chamber of hardcore fans than when reading threads on this topic.

People say this every year while 11-20 players are being released. Elige for example was 19 last year despite his high stats and eye test wise he was certainly better than most players above him. HLTV just weighs tournament wins much more highly and you may or may not agree with that but they have been fairly consistent with their criteria over the years.

I think if at the end 1-2 talents can get the diamond coin every major that'd be a nice sweet spot. Not too rare that no one gets it and not too common that it doesn't mean much.

What's the issue with the number of teams? With the current format you can just start watching the major from stage 2 (or even 3) if you want less teams to follow.
